Writers Fellowship
A NETWORK OF RESEARCHERS COMMITTED TO WRITING FOR IMPACT
The EdResearch Writers Fellowship is a first-of-its-kind program that aims to help education researchers better communicate their research to a practitioner audience, increasing the reach and impact of their work. Carrie Conaway, senior lecturer at Harvard Graduate School of Education, directs the fellowship program.

Who Are We Looking For?
Eligible candidates must:
- Have earned a PhD or equivalent terminal degree by the application deadline of November 15
- Study a topic relevant for education policy or practice, at any level of the education system (early education, K-12, post-secondary, or adult)
- Study U.S. education contexts
In selecting fellows, we will prioritize candidates who:
- Have a demonstrated record of producing research with strong relevance for policy or practice
- Write primarily for an academic audience
- Represent a community that has historically had less access to opportunities for public scholarship
- Can attend all of the fellowship activities, including the in-person kickoff, virtual workshops, and reading group
