Ryan is an 8th grade English and Language Arts teacher for IDEA Public Schools in El Paso, Texas. Ryan is a Fellow with the Texas Public Charter Schools Association, a CREED/PSI/El Paso Foundation Innovative Educator Fellow, and Teach+ Policy Fellow. Ryan holds a BA in Chicano Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso. He is currently in his eighth year of teaching.
