Jessica Nauiokas is an accomplished, equity-minded leader with national recognition, dedicated to advancing organizational effectiveness, student achievement and restorative practices in schools. She is the Executive Director for Haven Academy which, since its inception in 2008 with The New York Foundling, has catapulted into a national paradigm for integrating academic excellence with social-emotional support for trauma-impacted youth. Nauiokas’ groundbreaking work earned her the prestigious role of Principal Ambassador Fellow by the U.S. Department of Education in 2015, influencing national policies for high-needs communities. She is committed to creating inclusive communities that prioritize social-emotional needs, student and family voice, and collaborative teamwork. Jessica has been a New Leaders Fellowship Recipient and an Adjunct Professor for NYC Teaching Fellows. She began her career in education as a Teach for America corps member and teacher.
