Jennifer Greene

Jennifer Greene is an accomplished education leader from Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Justice, Law, & Society from American University, and later joined Teach for America in 2007. Her leadership at YES Prep Public Schools in Houston helped the school earn national recognition as one of the top high schools in the country from U.S. News & World Report. Jennifer’s roles have ranged from founding teacher to Lead Principal at YES Prep, demonstrating her ability to elevate educational standards and foster a culture of excellence.

Her leadership style can be described as supportive, transparent, and collaborative, focusing on creating transformative changes within the educational communities she serves. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Tulsa Legacy Charter School, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role Jennifer promotes a rigorous program that prepares students for college and beyond. Under her guidance, the school aims to become a model of educational excellence and equity in the North Tulsa community.

Jennifer holds a Master of Arts degree in School Building Leadership from Columbia University and a Doctorate in Education Leadership and Policy from American University. She is proud to join this team as a member of the EdResearch Advisory Board and looks forward to contributing towards discussions on improving educational opportunities and outcomes for students.
