recently retired from Learning Forward. She has more than 25 years of experience as a writer and editor in education. During her time at Learning Forward, Tracy for many years served as the editor of the organization’s bimonthly magazine, where she worked directly with practitioners and academics to share their experiences and expertise in ways that readers could apply lessons in their own contexts. Tracy also wrote and edited books, reports, and blog posts; she is a co-author with Stephanie Hirsh of Becoming a Learning Team (2018). She also led the organization’s overall communications and branding efforts to ensure consistency of voice and messaging. Most recently, Tracy led the revision and release of Learning Forward’s Standards for Professional Learning. The standards, now in their fourth edition, guide educators at all levels to understand, plan, implement, and evaluate professional learning that leads to improvements in teaching and learning.
