Shanna Ricketts currently serves as the Executive Director of Research, Evaluation, and Analytics at Gwinnett County Public Schools, where she supports district and school leaders in using sound research and data to inform decisions that will improve student outcomes. Prior to joining Gwinnett County Public Schools, Shanna spent two years as a Harvard Strategic Data Project fellow working on human capital analytics with the Delaware Department of Education. Shanna is particularly interested in playing the role of translator – helping to make research and data accessible so that it can be used to inform practice. Shanna holds a PhD in Educational Studies from Emory University, an MBA from INSEAD, and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Harvard University.
