Kari Kraichely

Kari is an experienced education administrator with over two decades of dedicated service, specializing in student services and special education leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Student Services at KIPP St. Louis Kari oversees multiple programs (special education, mental health, English language learning and nursing) and leads state testing for her district. She has been recognized for achievements such as a 28% reduction in out-of-school suspensions and recently co-founded a special education cooperative for the city of St. Louis.

Previously, she has held positions such as Assistant Principal and Director of Special Education, while pioneering audit systems for compliance and introducing MTSS programs in academics and behavior. Kari holds diverse certifications, including Director of Special Education and K-12 School Principal, and actively engages in educational committees and initiatives.

Her education background includes a Doctorate in Educational Psychology, a Master of Arts in School Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education and has been recognized for leadership and excellence with awards such as the state of Missouri’s Outstanding New Special Education Director.
